L'amore di Màrja

The film centers on Màrja, who embraces a hippie lifestyle in Finland during the 1970s. Her life takes a significant turn when she meets Fortunato, a young Sicilian, during a peace march. Their romance blossoms, leading to marriage and the joys of raising two daughters together.

As the family faces financial difficulties, Fortunato proposes a move to his hometown in Southern Italy for better job opportunities. Màrja agrees, but soon finds herself struggling against a hostile environment, grappling with xenophobia and cultural differences.
