Lanchang Kuning

The film tells the story of Dato Ali, who seeks revenge on a woman that does not return his affections. To achieve this, he deceives the Sultan into believing that his kingdom faces misfortune unless a sacrificial ritual is performed. The Sultan, unaware of the true nature of the ritual, orders it to take place, involving the blood of a woman in her first pregnancy on the sailboat 'Lancang Kuning' before its maiden voyage.
