Land of Happiness

The story follows Min-soo as he visits Hui-ja's house on his birthday, filled with unease. As he interacts with her family, he is confronted by the memorial table for Hui-ja's son, Jin-woo, who died eight years prior while saving Min-soo's life during a suicide attempt. Hui-ja welcomes him warmly, unaware of the discomfort Min-soo feels in her presence.

This film navigates the difficult terrain of shared grief and the struggle for happiness in the aftermath of tragedy. The performances by Ji Yong-seok, Ye Su-jeong, and the rest of the cast bring depth to the emotional narrative, making it a poignant exploration of how the past continues to shape present relationships.
