The story follows Mada, a man with a polite demeanor who secretly belongs to a criminal gang. Despite his relationship with his girlfriend Puji, who encourages him to abandon his life of crime, Mada continues to commit robberies, including a gold store heist. After marrying Puji, he attempts to establish a legitimate business selling cigarettes and gado-gado, but his past catches up with him when his former gang members force him back into crime.

As the narrative unfolds, Mada and Puji face escalating challenges, leading to a climax where they confront both the gang and law enforcement. The film's exploration of crime, loyalty, and redemption presents a compelling view of the struggles many face when trying to escape their past.
