Last Conversations presents a series of interviews with young Brazilian students, showcasing their views and aspirations. Filmmaker Eduardo Coutinho sought to understand the mindset of today's youth before his passing in February 2014.

The film features footage that has been edited by Coutinho's longtime partner, Jordana Berg. The final cut is credited to João Moreira Salles, ensuring that Coutinho's vision is preserved.
