The film unfolds as Tristan prepares to escort Iseult, the Irish princess, to Cornwall for her marriage to his uncle. A love potion, intended to ensure a joyful start to the arranged marriage, becomes a catalyst for unexpected emotions when it is mistakenly consumed by Iseult and her chambermaid. Their love blossoms, but it brings the threat of treason against the crown.
