Left Behind

The film follows a group of teens who have successfully broken out from Freeman Rehabilitation Camp but are now living off the grid. They find themselves hiding in an abandoned building while grappling with the realities of their new freedom. As tensions rise, the group's leader, Luke, decides to return to the camp with Desi and Olive to rescue Kenna, who chose to stay behind. Meanwhile, the rest of the group faces a critical decision: wait for their friends to return or leave to ensure their own safety.

Left Behind is inspired by Alexandra Bracken's novel, The Darkest Minds, and expands on the themes of friendship and survival in a post-apocalyptic setting. With a young cast including Aria Brooks, Kinsey Kunkel, and David Walterhouse, the film adds depth to the franchise while maintaining the tension established in the original film.
