Legend of the Sea has this quirky charm, blending adventure and family themes in a unique way. You follow Little Dragon, this prince who's lost the Luminous Pearl—his kingdom's power source and his father's trust. It's a classic quest, really. The animation style feels a bit dated but has a certain warmth to it that I find appealing. The pacing has its moments, sometimes slow but it builds up to the exciting confrontations with Ocho, the evil octopus. The colors and visuals are vibrant, creating a lively underwater world. The performances, while not top-notch, add to the film’s earnestness—there's something endearing about the characters. It's a nice slice of early 2000s animation, definitely a curiosity for collectors.
Interesting animation style from the early 2000s. · Themes of redemption and family dynamics play a key role. · The villain, Ocho, has a unique design and adds to the atmosphere.
