Lemon! centers around sixteen-year-old Tiaan and Zane, whose dreams of starting a rock band lead them into a series of comedic mishaps. After a prank goes awry, the duo finds themselves in hot water with the school principal and their parents, facing a hefty repair bill of R30,000.

To save their reputation and pay off their debts, Tiaan and Zane must enter the school 'Battle of the Bands' competition, which offers a grand prize of R30,000. They recruit bandmates Liezl, the most popular girl in school, and Bongi, the new girl with talent and confidence, setting the stage for humorous adventures and musical challenges.
