Leo Sonnyboy

The story follows train driver Leo Mangold, who has lived alone for years in a two-room apartment. His life takes a turn when his colleague Adrian, involved in an affair with a Thai go-go dancer named Apia, asks Leo to marry her to help her secure a residence permit. Reluctantly, Leo agrees, leading to Apia moving in with him, which complicates his solitary existence.

As Leo and Apia navigate their unusual arrangement, they begin to develop genuine feelings for each other. However, their growing relationship faces challenges from Adrian, who is unhappy with their emotional connection, and Willi, a nightclub owner who pressures Apia into a different situation altogether.
