Lepanto: O Último Cangaceiro

The documentary follows Michael Wells, who, after losing his home due to the London 2012 Olympic Park reconstruction, engages in a campaign against the Olympic Games. Invited by Enrico to lend his voice to a documentary, Michael begins to confront his fears and responsibilities, especially as his fiancée Marie joins him with her own commitments.

As he learns to narrate, Michael sheds his fear of death, preparing to resist what he perceives as oppression. The film draws parallels between Brazil's historical struggles and contemporary issues, portraying the country as a battleground between societal models. The documentary provides a lens into the complexities of activism and cultural identity in modern Brazil.
