Lermontov. Doomsday

The story unfolds in Pyatigorsk, at the foot of Mount Mashuk, on the morning of July 15, 1841. Tensions rise as Lermontov and his friend Martynov stand on the brink of a duel, with only a few hours left before their confrontation. Friends and acquaintances scramble to intervene and prevent the impending violence, highlighting the emotional stakes involved.

The film features a talented cast including Evgeny Romantsov, Semyon Aleshin, and Denis Paramonov, among others. As a biographical drama, it offers insight into Lermontov's life and the complexities of his relationships.
