This extensive collection reflects thousands of incarnations of Venus, demonstrating how this figure has evolved across different civilizations and epochs.

By intertwining elements of High Art and Low Art, Les Avatars de Vénus challenges the traditional ideological hierarchies established by academics. It juxtaposes Renaissance iconography with commercial advertisements, religious imagery with pornographic icons, and includes both classical and non-Western sculptures.
