The film follows Jakob, a music historian whose life takes an unexpected turn when he realizes he can no longer profit from his traditional work. Faced with financial difficulties, he discovers that a Türkpop label is on the lookout for a summer hit. Although he knows little about this genre, Jakob seizes the opportunity to dive into a new musical landscape to secure his future.

Set against the backdrop of Istanbul, the narrative contrasts Jakob's classical music background with the contemporary sounds of Türkpop. This cultural shift brings humor and challenges as he navigates an unfamiliar environment while trying to create a hit song.
