Life Expectancy

The story follows a young couple living in a cramped apartment who discover a potential new home through an advertisement for a Viager sale. They are drawn to the house owned by an elderly woman named Colette, which appears to be the perfect solution to their housing dilemma. However, the couple soon questions whether Colette is as frail as she seems.

This film, produced by ESMA, combines animation with comedy to delve into themes of hope, uncertainty, and the unexpected twists that come with new beginnings. With Emmanuel Curtil leading the voice cast, Life Expectancy brings a fresh perspective to the animated genre, making it an interesting entry for collectors of animated films and comedies from 2021.
