Life Is Life

The film centers on Frantisek, a pedantic policeman who struggles to guide his three daughters toward suitable partners. Despite his efforts, they consistently attract the wrong types. The eldest is eager to conceive, the middle daughter is drawn to eccentric partners, and the youngest faces an unexpected pregnancy without knowledge of the father.

Frantisek and his wife, played by Simona Stašová, enjoy their routine vacations at a local lake, while she dreams of a more adventurous seaside getaway. The story takes a turn when she encounters a bohemian writer with existential woes, which complicates their family life further. With a mix of humor and familial challenges, "Life Is Life" provides a unique perspective on relationships and expectations within a family setting.
