Little Devil

Directed by an uncredited filmmaker from Mosfilm, Little Devil captures the dullness and bitterness of small-town life. The narrative centers on Peredonov, a high school teacher whose aspirations for a promotion and life in the capital spiral into obsession. His second cousin Varvara, who has her own dreams of marrying him, complicates his life further with a deceptive letter.
