Little Tickles is quite an interesting mix of comedy and drama. It brings a unique lens to childhood trauma through the eyes of Odette, an 8-year-old girl who dances and draws. What stands out is how the film balances lighter moments with the more serious undertones of her adult life as a dancer grappling with her past. Bescond’s direction feels intimate, almost like you're peeking into Odette's world. The performances, especially from the young actress, carry an authenticity that’s hard to shake off. It really taps into the resilience of the human spirit, with lots of dance sequences that feel organic rather than flashy. Not the usual coming-of-age narrative you’d expect; it’s raw and emotionally resonant, definitely worth a look for those who appreciate more nuanced storytelling.
