Liu Xiahui

The story revolves around Zhan Qin, a renowned scholar known for his virtue and moral resolve. Set in the State of Lu, Zhan Qin successfully averts a crisis after locating the envoy Cen Ding, despite attempts from the rival State of Qi to bribe him. They send a woman named Zhijiang to seduce him, hoping to break his steadfastness.

However, Zhan Qin remains unmoved by temptation, leading to an unexpected turn where Zhijiang falls in love with him and ultimately helps save his life. Following these events, Zhan Qin resigns from his position and returns to his hometown of Linquan, where he lives a quiet life and is later honored as the "Sage of Harmony" by future generations.
