Lockdown presents a comic thriller narrative focused on two couples navigating life in quarantine as the Netherlands grapples with the corona crisis. The story centers on Michel, the artistic leader of Theater Group Maastricht, who is concerned about the future of his company amidst government-mandated theater closures. His worries are compounded by his asthma and hypochondria.

In a bid to maintain public interest and financial viability, Michel's friend Servé proposes an innovative solution. They decide to perform the Oresteia, via the internet from their homes. This creative approach allows them to engage with audiences while addressing the pressing challenges of survival in the arts during the pandemic. With a runtime of 62 minutes, Lockdown offers a timely commentary on the intersection of creativity and crisis.
