In this film, Zeca has been living with Arts Professor Júlia for five years but finds himself stuck in a creative rut, unable to finish his novel. His comfortable life, supported by his inheritance, takes a turn when he mistakenly believes Júlia is having an affair with her best friend, Carol. This obsession leads him to pursue Carol while juggling his relationship with Júlia.

As Júlia travels to São Paulo for work, Zeca seizes the opportunity to engage in a complicated affair with Carol.
