Lumpazivagabundus

The film follows the lives of three apprentices: tailor Zwirn, carpenter Leim, and shoemaker Knieriem, who win a lottery and experience sudden wealth. However, their fortunes lead to various misadventures; Zwirn squanders his money on the glamorous Signora Palpiti, while Knieriem drinks away his wealth. Leim, who marries his master’s daughter, becomes horrified by the fate of his friends and makes it his mission to restore their middle-class lives.
