Lying in Wait

The film follows young bachelor Babee as he manages his deceased mother's estate. His life takes a turn when a married couple, Keith and Vera, moves in. Babee becomes infatuated with Vera and is drawn into the risky lifestyle of Keith.

After a tragic car accident leaves Keith in a semi-vegetative state, he reveals to Babee that he can still communicate and has a dark agenda. Together, they plot revenge against those who have wronged Keith, blurring the lines between loyalty and moral integrity. With a cast featuring Rutger Hauer and Virginia Madsen, the film delves into psychological themes and the consequences of obsession.
