Lykke paa rejsen

The story follows Klaus Seeberg, who is engrossed in his research to create a new perfume. His wife Dagny's impatience leads her to an affair with Joachim Friis-Olsen, which sets off a chain of events when Klaus discovers the truth. In an effort to escape his troubles, Klaus travels to Paris, where he meets a Danish woman named Betty.

Back in Denmark, a party hosted by Klaus' aunt brings unexpected tensions to the surface, as both Joachim and Betty appear. The film raises questions about love and fidelity, particularly as Klaus grapples with his feelings for Betty amidst the emotional chaos. With a strong ensemble cast featuring Erling Schroeder, Ingeborg Brams, and Asbjørn Andersen, the film reflects the dramatic storytelling of its era.
