Maboroshi

The story centers on Kenta Ochiai, an elementary school boy who witnesses a murder mystery unfold in his town. A mutilated body is discovered by the riverside, and Kenta is drawn into the investigation after seeing a crocodile swimming nearby. This prompts him to team up with a friend to capture the creature, questioning whether the crocodile or a murderer is responsible for the horrific act.
