Madame de Langeais

The film follows the Duchess of Langeais, portrayed by Germaine Dermoz, who is infatuated with the serious General de Meyran. Their relationship takes a tumultuous turn when the General professes his love, only to be interrupted by the Duchess's friends, leading to his withdrawal from her life.
