Mandali

The narrative of Mandali follows Purshottam Chaubey, a peon at an intermediate college, as he navigates the complexities of his life and family. Together with his cousin, Sitaram, they perform in the Ramleela Mandali, a traditional theatrical enactment of the Ramayana. However, their lives take a dramatic turn when Sitaram's addiction leads to a public humiliation during a performance.

Feeling the weight of failure and guilt, Ramsevak, their uncle and the Mandali's leader, decides to abandon the stage, prompting a crisis in the family's artistic legacy. Puru, determined to confront these challenges, embarks on a quest to restore his family’s honor and the cultural significance of their performances. The film captures the essence of personal struggle against the backdrop of societal changes, making it a relevant exploration of contemporary issues.
