Margherita

The film follows Sister Margherita, a young nun in an Italian monastery who experiences a deep connection with Jesus Christ. However, her love leads her into anguish when He seemingly disappears from her life. This turmoil drives her to self-destructive behaviors, including seeking solace in dirty places and inflicting pain on herself.

Sister Chiara, her friend, advises her to seek God's presence in the beauty of Nature. Following this guidance, Sister Margherita spends time in the woods, where she begins to hear mysterious voices. This culminates in a profound realization as she reaches a lake and feels a divine calling, guiding her toward inner peace and understanding.
