Maruthu Pandi

In the village of Ammapatti, Maruthu Pandi works as a coracle operator during the day and serves as the village protector at night. His life revolves around caring for his mentally ill sister, Lakshmi, who is pregnant. The villagers support him with food in return for his protection.

The narrative takes a turn when Kanagavalli, a dancer who is secretly a police officer, falls in love with Maruthu Pandi. However, her mission is to arrest him, revealing layers of conflict and tension. As the story unfolds, the revelation of Maruthu Pandi's true identity—Manickam—adds depth to the plot and sets the stage for the ensuing drama.
