Matka Kráčmerka

The story revolves around the Kráčmer couple, who are earnestly tending to their vegetable garden while planning for their daughter's future. Their daughter, Betynce, is in a serious relationship with a doctor named Zdeborský. In a moment of inspiration from a newspaper report, they decide to buy a lottery ticket for Kráčmer, leading to a series of comedic events.

As the narrative unfolds, Kráčmerka experiences a wave of regret after purchasing the ticket, feeling as if she has sacrificed all her possessions. Her sleepless night culminates in a trip to the store to return the ticket, but she discovers that she is too late, as the lottery draw has already taken place. This comedic twist adds depth to the film, showcasing the couple's aspirations and the unexpected turns in their lives.
