Meenda Sorgam

Meenda Sorgam tells the story of Nirmala, a talented young dancer portrayed by Padmini, who falls in love with Sekar, the son of a wealthy man, played by Gemini Ganesan. Their romance faces obstacles, as Sekar is pressured to marry Prathiba, the daughter of another affluent family. Nirmala vows to never dance in public for Sekar, but circumstances force her to perform to save Sekar's family home during an auction.

The film explores deep emotional themes, as Nirmala selflessly sacrifices her promise to help the man she loves. As the narrative unfolds, Sekar remains unaware of her actions until tragedy strikes, leading to a dramatic reunion that highlights the film's exploration of love and redemption.
