Mela

Mela tells the story of Govindan Kutty, a clown who returns to his village seeking a bride. He charms Sharada, who is drawn to his apparent wealth and agrees to marry him. However, their return to the circus reveals a different reality. Govindan's status diminishes, and he faces neglect from those around him.

As the plot unfolds, Sharada becomes closer to a stuntman named Vijayan, played by Mammootty. This complicates their marriage and adds layers to the existing marital tensions.
