Melody Lane

The story follows a songwriter who leaves his chorus girl sweetheart to serve in the US Army during WWI. While in France, he falls for a French singer named Madelon but is crippled in action. Upon returning to the United States, he discovers that his girlfriend has moved on, yet Madelon cannot forget him and travels to America to pursue her singing career.
