Memory of the Youth

Memory of the Youth focuses on Fang, a vibrant girl from Qingdao, and her developing friendship with Yao, a young boy who owns a violet she finds. Their bond deepens as they navigate the challenges of growing up and the pressures from Fang's mother, who wishes for her to marry. As Fang contemplates fleeing to Europe to escape those pressures, both she and Yao come to the realization that their feelings for each other have long since evolved into love.
