So, MENTORII is quite the ride—Johnny Balta, this really immature dude, gets kicked out by his dad after a car crash, right? It’s a comedy but it's got that sort of bittersweet edge, you know? The pacing feels a bit loose at times, which I think kind of fits Johnny’s chaotic life. There's this whole theme of self-discovery and growing up, and it plays out in some amusingly awkward situations. The performances are solid, especially the dynamic between Johnny and Dorin, which really captures that father-son tension. There are some nice practical effects sprinkled in during the comedic mishaps, adding a bit of charm to the overall feel. Not your run-of-the-mill comedy, for sure.
