Mercy

Mercy follows Guro, who reunites with her estranged best friend Petter, accused of rape. This chance encounter places her in a difficult position: should she defend him and risk her own reputation, or abandon him altogether? The narrative tackles profound questions surrounding trust, stigma, and the fragility of relationships in the face of serious accusations.

This film premiered at the 48th Norwegian Short Film Festival, where it won the Golden Chair award for Best Norwegian Short. Additionally, it received the Best Short film award at the Norwegian film award Amanda. The accolades highlight its impact and the relevance of its themes, making it a significant work in contemporary cinema.
