Mere Mehboob

The film follows Anwar Hussain Anwar, a student at Aligarh Muslim University, who becomes infatuated with a veiled woman. His life takes a turn when he meets Nawab Buland Akhtar Changezi, who helps him secure a job and introduces him to his sister, Husna, the same woman Anwar loves. Their romance blossoms despite Anwar's humble circumstances.

As the story progresses, the Nawab's financial troubles complicate their engagement plans. Anwar's association with a courtesan, Najma, adds further tension, leading the Nawab to pressure Husna into marrying the wealthy Munne Raja.
