Mi Querido Viejo

The story follows Luis Fuentes, a singer of Mexican music, who falls in love with journalist Maria Luisa Cortéz. As their relationship progresses, they marry and have a son named Rafael. However, their marriage deteriorates due to Luis's commitments, leading to a painful divorce that affects their family dynamics.

After the separation, Maria instills a sense of resentment in Rafael toward his father, moving to the United States to prevent any contact between them. Despite this, Luis remains determined to reconnect with his son, frequently visiting Maria in hopes of rekindling their relationship. As Rafael grows up, he develops a passion for music reminiscent of his father's, even while grappling with feelings of animosity towards him.
