Miracle (2006) definitely brings a unique blend of comedy and drama, exploring themes of love and loss. You’ve got Karsten, a guy stuck in a rut since his wife passed. The pacing feels reflective, almost like you’re moving through his grief with him. It's interesting how he meets someone who could change everything, yet she embodies everything he’s learned to hate. The performances are quite nuanced; you can really feel the struggle within him. It doesn’t rely on flashy effects, instead, it’s all about the characters and their interactions. The atmosphere feels a bit heavy at times, but there's a lightness that comes through in the humor, which balances it out nicely. It’s not your typical romantic comedy for sure.
