Mom for Hire

The film follows little Sonia, whose mother has left for America in search of a better life. Surrounded by her father and grandmother, Sonia yearns for the love of her mother, leading her father to devise a plan. Disillusioned with women, he persuades a barmaid named Tamara to temporarily play the role of a mother in hopes of discouraging Sonia's dreams.

As Sonia's father embarks on another trucking voyage, Tamara moves into their home, creating an unexpected dynamic. Believing that Tamara is under a spell, Sonia resolves to transform her into the mother she longs for. This comedic tale weaves together elements of romance and family as it explores the complexities of love and the bonds we create.
