Moonlight in Tokyo

The film follows Jun, played by Leon Lai, who is intellectually impaired but far from silly. After being abandoned by his family during a trip to Tokyo, he encounters Hoi, a former classmate turned grifter. Hoi is on the run from yakuza loan sharks and sees an opportunity to exploit Jun's naïveté.

As the narrative unfolds, Hoi convinces Yan, the owner of an escort service, that Jun could become a lucrative gigolo. The film navigates the complexities of their friendship as Hoi transforms Jun into a sought-after Lothario while trying to manage the threats from the yakuza. The mix of crime, drama, and comedy creates a distinctive viewing experience that reflects the challenges of life in a foreign city.
