Mordová rokle

The story centers on Konrád Ritter von Schiess, the new owner of an estate in the Czech village of Sluky. He orders the eviction of villagers, allowing only 30 families to stay if they agree to work on his estate. However, the villagers refuse to submit to the lords, and their unity is tested when a member is murdered by the Gestapo, following a report by the estate manager Prokeš.
