Mortuary Blues

The film revolves around an annual ritual staged by the wealthy inhabitants of the island, who put on an operatic show. However, police chief Yuan Kuei suspects that they are involved in illegal activities, believing he has stumbled upon a narcotics ring. Unbeknownst to him, the islanders are actually living off the treasure looted from a government gold galleon, buried alongside a dormant vampire under a pagoda.

Mortuary Blues features a diverse cast, including Corey Yuen, Sandra Ng Kwan-Yu, and Sheila Chan Suk-Lan. The film's unique blend of genres and its setting create an intriguing backdrop for a story that mixes humor with horror elements.
