Mother Love

Set in the mountainous region of Bakur, Mother Love tells the story of Keke, an elderly woman who is gravely ill. Her son Ali travels from Germany to support her, accompanied by his daughter Hazal. Hazal, unfamiliar with her family's Alevi-Kurdish roots, finds herself drawn into their past as she learns of her grandmother's final wish—to be buried with her old suitcase.

As Hazal discovers the significance of the suitcase, she uncovers a family history marked by violence, oppression, and resilience.
