Mountain of Wrath

Mountain of Wrath tells the story of Stamat, the president of a rural cooperative in a village in western Macedonia after 1946. With revolutionary zeal, he believes that collectivization is the solution for poor farmers, but he faces significant pushback from wealthy landowners attached to their property. As he navigates this conflict, Stamat also contends with the Committee's decision to assign the villagers' mountain, their source of livelihood, to the Wood Industry.
