My Heart Beats

The story follows Juri, a 37-year-old English professor who, feeling isolated and poor, decides to enter the adult film industry. To conceal her identity, she wears a mask while navigating this new world. Her journey takes her back to Myungsook, a porn producer with whom she has a complicated history, setting the stage for a mix of personal challenges and unexpected encounters.

As Juri prepares for her debut, she meets Byul, a young and attractive porn star aiming to fund his studies abroad. Despite his physical appeal, he bears a deep scar across his chest, adding layers to his character. Throughout their interactions, Juri struggles with her own insecurities, pushing Byul away while keeping her true virginity a secret. This tension forms the crux of the film, highlighting the contrasts between their lives and aspirations.
