My Motherland

My Motherland tells the story of a woman living alone in her apartment after her husband's death. When she learns about the Singa association that connects homeless migrants with hosts, she decides to take in Reza, a young Afghan who has faced the ravages of war and displacement. Despite her family's objections, she embarks on this journey of kindness and understanding.
