Mystic Shrine Maiden

The story follows Tōko, whose life as a shrine maiden is filled with joy from her interactions with the villagers. Her anticipation for the upcoming village festival is shattered when she learns it will be canceled due to an old superstition. Determined to revive the festival, Tōko disregards the villagers' advice and begins her preparations.

As Tōko embarks on her quest, she encounters a mysterious little girl by the lake, leading to unexpected events that challenge her beliefs and the traditions of her village. This film is a blend of fantasy and drama, appealing to those interested in narratives that delve into cultural practices and the spirit of community.
