The story centers on Karel, a successful businessman in a small Czech town, and his brother Emil, who has faced significant struggles in life. After a catastrophic fallout two decades ago, the brothers have not repaired their relationship. Karel's family is unaware of Emil's existence, which adds to the tension as Karel seeks help from Emil, leading to unexpected interactions.
