Namida no hanamichi

The film revolves around Nakamura Yukinojō, the most popular actor in Edo, who uncovers a significant connection to his family's adversary, Ohara Genba. This adversary has transformed into Isshiki Kurōnosuke, a direct retainer of the shogun, adding layers of political intrigue to the story.

As the plot unfolds, Yukinojō's younger brother, Shingorō, arrives in Edo from their hometown. He assists a local boy, Kiyohē, and his daughter Michi in overcoming challenges posed by troublemakers, including Kumosuke. This act of bravery leads to a poignant reunion between the brothers, facilitated by their associate, Daisaburō.
